Login to Confirm that you received your Secure token

Once you receive your secure token you must login to your DigiCert account to confirm that you have received the device. After confirming receipt, you can obtain the device's pre-assigned password online and install the device drivers and client software. Once installed, you will be able to give applications a digital signature using your EV Code Signing Certificate.

Follow the steps below in order to:

Activate Your Device

  1. Log in to your DigiCert account.

  2. From the "My Orders" tab, click the order number for your EV Code Signing Certificate order.

  3. In the area next to your order number, click the link to start activating your device.

  4. If you have received the device, select "I have received the hardware token" and click Submit.

    5. Obtain Your Pre-Assigned Password

  5. The pre-assigned device password will be displayed after you confirm the receipt of your hardware token.

    *Note: Your pre-assigned password will only be visible once. Make sure to take note of this password so you can access the certificate on your token.

    6. Install the Device Driver and Client Software

  6. Follow the link shown in the image below to download the SafeNet drivers and client software for your device. See our instructions to install the SafeNet eToken drivers on your computer.

    7. Change Your Password

  7. As a security precaution we strongly recommend changing the password for your SafeNet eToken after installing the drivers.

    8. Sign and Timestamp Code for Your Platform

  8. Now you're ready to start signing your code with your EV Code Signing Certificate. The process to sign and timestamp your code may vary slightly depending on the platform you're using. Choose your platform from the list below for specific instructions:
