Thank You for your interest in becoming an Authorized DigiCert Partner.
We build close and loyal relationships with our authorized partners, and we welcome new partners from all over the world!
This guide is designed to help new partners get up and running quickly.
Our program is Simple - You promote our products on your site, and we send you monthly commission payments.
You can keep track of your sales in real-time from your own web based account manager. We provide all the customer support, so you can just sit back, watch the sales come in, and receive your commission payments.
There are just Three Simple Steps to get started:
Step One - Sign Up
If you ARE an existing customer, just login to your online PKI Manager with your user name and password, and follow the simple instructions to apply. Since we have already verified your company details, there is no waiting period for validation.
If you ARE NOT an existing customer, please Sign Up to create an account, then follow the simple instructions to apply online with your new account number.
Step Two - Setup your web based Account Manager
Next, you will need to print out and sign the Authorized Partner Agreement, and send it to us by whatever option below is most convenient for you:

Then just follow the simple instructions to configure your account, and view your real-time sales reports.
Step Three - Setup Your Site
Simply paste the order form code into your own HTML, and you are ready to take orders!
Marketing Tips to increase your SSL Certificate Sales:
You are free to create your own sales copy, but please DO NOT copy content from any other website, even our own. WHY? For obvious ethical reasons, and because today's search engines will filter out duplicate content! You need Unique Content if you want your visitors to be able to find you in a search.

Link to your SSL Order Form on Every Page of your site.
If you have something to sell, make it Easy to Find!

Create at least one page of good information about SSL that makes sense to the average user.
Even one page of unique content about SSL can dramatically increase your sales from search engine traffic.
But if you make it a detailed explanation of "Secure Sockets Layer" or "256 Bit Encryption", most visitors will leave. Instead, write about "Making Your Site Secure" or "Why Your Site Needs to Be Secure" - You get the idea.
To search engines, the single most important thing is your title, so make sure this page's title tag contains the phrase "SSL Certificates", like this: <TITLE>SSL Certificates - Your Company Name Here</TITLE>

Make SSL Certificates an option on your other Sign-Up pages.
Briefly explain who needs SSL (anyone running a business online), Then give them a check box to let you know they want more information. Examples of good labels for the check box would be "I Will Require Secure Transactions" or "Make My Site Secure". The order confirmation your customer recieves is another great place to offer SSL, with a link to your SSL order form.
- Remember that commission levels are based on sales per month. If you have any reasonable way of motivating sales before the end of the sales-month, it could take you to the next level, creating an enormous jump in your commissions.
Things you should NOT DO as a DigiCert Partner:
- DO NOT Attempt to sell below the regular retail price. For one thing, it won't work. The customized form you'll use to sell DigiCert will not allow for price changes on your end. We made it this way for a reason - This way all of our partners stand on a fair and level playing field, including DigiCert. We don't compete with our own Partners.

DO NOT attempt to brand DigiCert SSL as your own.
DigiCert Certificates are about TRUST, and DigiCert SSL Certificates are established and TRUSTED. You will benefit far more from our name-brand recognition than if you tried to sell your own brand.
Besides, you receive credit from all future sales and renewals of your customers anyway, so even if they do purchase directly from DigiCert, you still get your commission. (as long as you remain an active DigiCert Partner)
- DO NOT use Email Spam to market our products. We market only through ethical means . DigiCert will not tolerate having its name tainted by spammers. Spamming is a breach of our Partner Agreement, and spammers will pay for any damages. Do not use purported "opt-in" lists if they are not your own customers that opted-in on your own site. DigiCert is a name people can trust, and we want to keep it that way.
