Wikimedia Foundation Partners with DigiCert, Inc. to Secure Web and Mobile Connections through High-Assurance SSL Certificates
LINDON, UT (May 8, 2012) — DigiCert, Inc., an online security provider for many of the most recognized brands and web sites in the world, today announced a partnership with the Wikimedia Foundation to secure its web and mobile properties using the company’s Enterprise SSL Managed PKI. With the announcement, Wikimedia becomes the fourth of the top 10 comScore-ranked sites in the world to use DigiCert’s SSL certificate encryption and authentication services.
