  Frost & Sullivan global analyst group recognizes DigiCert with 2011 Customer Value Enhancement Award, citing the companies cost-effective, best-in-class SSL certificates.

• January 9, 2012 - Travis Tidball Marketer of the Year

  Our very own VP of Marketing was named Marketer of the Year at the 2012 Sales and Marketer of the Year (SAMY) awards.

• December 22, 2011 - Utah's Best Companies to Work For

  DigiCert was named as one of Utah's Best Companies to Work For by Utah Business Magazine, the ninth award that DigiCert has received in 2011. Companies who participate in this program go through an extensive examination in several areas, including corporate culture, benefits, pay, communication, and employee pride.

• November 17, 2011 - ClickID Trust Seals Now Available

  The ClickID trust seal increases conversion and customer confidence by showcasing strong identity verification with an attractive site seal. Establishing online legitimacy is essential for organizations that have an Internet presence. The ClickID trust seal helps assure site visitors that the rightful operator of the site has been identified by stringent authentication procedures.

• October 24, 2011 - DigiCert Recognized for Workplace Excellence

  We are happy to announce receiving several awards, including the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 award, the Utah 100 award, and the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility award. Earlier this year, DigiCert received an Inc 500|5000 ranking, a Utah Best of State award, and a UV50 Fastest-Growing Companies award.

• September 7, 2011 - DigiCert & Dyn Announce New Partnership

  DigiCert will be providing SSL certificate issuance and customer/technical support for Dyn customers with SSL issues. Dyn is an Internet-as-a-Service (IaaS) leader specializing in DNS and email delivery. Existing Dyn customers will have their SSL certificates transferred to DigiCert when it comes time to renew but they have immediate access to the DigiCert support team for SSL-related questions, effective immediately.

• August 30, 2011 - DigiCert Makes Inc. 500|5000® List for 2011

  Our company has been recognized by Inc. magazine's annual Inc 500|5000 ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. DigiCert ranks no. 639 on the list with a 3-year sales growth of 503 percent.

• July 28, 2011 - DigiCert Hosts 2011 TAGPMA Face-to-Face Meeting

  DigiCert hosted The Americas Grid Policy Management Authority (TAGPMA) for their 13th Face-to-Face Meeting at the DigiCert corporate offices in Lindon, UT.

• February 24, 2011 - Code Signing Certificates Now Offered

  DigiCert is proud to announce that we have expanded our digital certificate lineup once again, this time to include code signing certificates.

• January 12, 2011 - New Three-for-One Extended Validation SSL

  With our new package pricing for EV SSL certificates, organizations are able to upgrade to Extended Validation certificates for prices competitive with our standard SSL certificates.

• December 16, 2010 - DigiCert Now Offers EV Wildcard Alternatives

  This month DigiCert introduced a new EV product line intended to allow server administrators to secure their entire domain with enhanced Extended Validation security at one low price.

• October 28, 2010 - SHA-2 SSL Certificates Now Available

  DigiCert customers are now able to upgrade the secure hashing algorithm to SHA-2 (or SHA-256) from the standard SHA-1. SHA-2 may be required in compliance with certain federal regulations, or by PCI compliance scanners.

• September 1, 2010 - New Wildcard SSL Features Available

  Certificates issues as of September will now include the ability to have Subject Alternate Names (SANs) added to the certificate at purchase. These SANs will allow Wildcards to secure the entire domain to which they are issued, instead of just first-level subdomains in the traditional *.domain.com format.

• August 24, 2010 - Automated Certificate Installation Checking from DigiCert

• July 27, 2010 - DigiCert Offers Managed PKI Service for Enterprise-Level SSL Certificates

  DigiCert now offers enterprise SSL certificate management services, allowing account administrators greater user management as well as certificate management functions. Managed PKI accounts are especially helpful for organizations requiring a large volume of SSL certificates, and are offered at no additional cost to all of our customers.

• July 15, 2010 - DigiCert Renews WebTrust Extended Validation Certification

  DigiCert passes WebTrust EV CA audit for SSL Certificate Authorities. WebTrust EV auditing is designed to hold CAs accountable to hold CAs accountable to Extended Validation issuance standards as set forth by the CA/Browser forum.

• June 29, 2010 - New Windows SSL Certificate Management Tool

  DigiCert, Inc. has created a free tool designed to diagnose and repair SSL certificates. Managing and troubleshooting Microsoft server certificate installations is made virtually painless with this tool, no matter whom the certificate is issued by.

• May 21, 2009 - DigiCert and SafeMashups Partner to Secure Web 2.0 Protocols

  SafeMashups and DigiCert partner to provide secure SSL certificates through the MashSSL Web Toolkit, allowing a trusted pipe to be built between your web service and that of your partners when using MashSSL.

• March 17, 2009 - Promoting Education Through the "Giving of the Green"

  DigiCert has committed to a substantial donation through Utah Valley University's annual "Giving of the Green" fundraising program. DigiCert will match donations from students, effectively doubling the amount of funds made available to students through this program.

• March 3, 2009 - MD5 Certificate Hack Does Not Impact DigiCert Customers

  Although this recent security break could impact as many as 14% of all SSL certs currently on the internet, DigiCert does not use the MD5 hashing algorithm (long considered less secure than the newer SHA-1 algorithm) for any of our customers certificates, and all of our customers can rest assured this does not consititute any kind of threat to the security of their certificates.

• February 20, 2009 - EV SSL Certificates Protect Against SSLstrip Attacks

  During a man-in-the-middle attack, hackers can redirect users to their own sites that are otherwise indistinguishable from the actual website users intended to access. EV SSL certificates can help reduce vulnerability to this kind of attack, by encouraging users to look for certain key elements, such as the green URL bar.

• Februrary 10, 2009 - DigiCert Certificates are More Flexible than Ever With SANs

  With the use of the Subject Alternate Name field our new UC Certificates (originally intended for use with Exchange 2007, but now widely accepted and valid for use on almost every server type) allow customers to cut costs as well as increasing their ability to secure their servers and reduce time installing or renewing certificates.
