  • Key -- Usually a number but can be any type of a piece of information that needed to encrypt or decrypt a message. Therefore, a key is an Internet security tool of encryption (256 Bit encryption and SSL encryption) that provides online security.
  • Key Management -- The method of dispensing keys securely in order to provide users with them where and when they are needed.
  • Key Pair -- A public key and private key, which is called a key pair, is usually required in the decryption of encrypted or ciphered information that has been through the process of encryption.
  • Keyword -- A word or combination of words describing a particular topic of a database online or a search through an Internet search engine.  Keywords that describe the content of web pages or a website may also be embedded into the web pages' meta tags.  This is done so that the keywords might be more efficiently indexed by search engines on the Internet.
  • Kiosk -- A structure that is small and stands alone. With a computer and display screen, users can use a kiosk to receive product or other kinds of information.  They can be used to take online orders, and are most often located in high-traffic areas like airports and malls for dispensing information.
