Mac OS X Server SSL Certificate Installation (version 10.5)
Download Certificates
Log in to your DigiCert account and download your Intermediate (DigiCertCA.crt) and Primary (your_domain_name.crt) certificate files.
Intermediate Certificate Installation
Double click on your DigiCertCA.crt file to run the Keychain Access application, then click on the arrow and choose to install to the "System" Keychain.
Enter your password when prompted, and close the Keychain Access application.

Server Certificate Installation
Using the Server Admin tool, login to the server where you will install the certificate, then click the Certificates tab.
Click on your certificate request and click to edit it. Choose to "Add Signed or Renewed Certificate from Certificate Authority".
Paste the entire body of your certificate (including the begin and end certificate tags) and click OK, then choose to SAVE. If you entered a password when creating a CSR, you may be prompted to enter that password now.
Your certificate installation is now complete.
Assigning Your Certificate
Now that your certificate has been installed, you can assign it to your services in the settings pane for the appropriate service.
Once your certificate has been assigned to the appropriate services, go ahead and click the SAVE button.
Your certificate should now be assigned and ready for use.
If your web site is publicly accessible, our SSL Certificate Tester tool can help you diagnose common problems.
If you need to disable SSL version 2 compatibility in order to meet PCI Compliance requirements, you will need to add the following directive to your Apache configuration file:
SSLCipherSuite HIGH:+MEDIUM:!SSLv2:!EXP:!ADH:!aNULL:!eNULL:!NULL
If the directive already exists, you will probably need to modify it to disable SSL version 2.
