What is a DigiCert Secure Trust seal?
All DigiCert certificates come with a free DigiCert site seal. DigiCert's site seal gives you an easy way to let your customers know that your site is being secured by DigiCert and that their information is safe. All certificates come with the ability to use the blue security seal shown to the left. If you have an EV Certificate you can also choose to use a green security seal.
How to install your DigiCert Secure Trust seal
To put the site seal on your web site you will need to get some HTML code that is specific to your certificate and paste it into the HTML of your page or pages. To get the site seal code, follow these steps:
- Login to your DigiCert account.
- Under My Certificates, you will find a list of your current certificates. Click on the order number for the certificate that you need to get the site seal for.
- Click the Get Site Seal button.
- In the new window, choose the configuration options that best fit your site by selecting the size and placement.
- Click the Generate Site Seal Code button.
- Copy the HTML code that was generated and paste it into the HTML of any page that you want to display the seal. The seal will show up in the place where you place it on the page.
