Additionally, your preferences are synced between CertCentral and ServiceNow, so no extra setup or configuration is required.

Here are a few tips on how to easily set it up and successfully use it to its full potential.

Set up in just three steps:

1. Download a CertCentral API Key.
2. Download the DigiCert CertCentral Manager app in the ServiceNow store and install it.
3. Add the CertCentral API key and update installed applications with the key.

Once set up, you can then customize the app to your organization’s needs.

Assign roles

During set-up, establish roles for administrators, approvers and requesters. By assigning permissions to authorized users, you can also edit and expedite certificates as needed. And when roles change, access can be changed immediately.

Customize fields

You can create custom order fields to require or make optional, certificate fields based on certificate purpose, location, owner, expiration, etc. This helps you keep better track of certificates, so you always know your certificate’s who, what, when and where.
