The Q4 edition of DigiCert RADAR shows attackers increasingly applying sustained pressure over short-lived disruption across core internet infrastructure.

DNS demand reached record levels, while DNS-targeted DDoS activity intensified, underscoring DNS’s role as both critical infrastructure and an active attack surface. At the same time, DDoS campaigns escalated in scale and duration, with terabit-level attacks and multi-day events becoming more common as the Aisuru and Kimwolf botnets were created and used to launch tsunami-sized attacks.
