Search Marketing Specialist

Job Description:
One of Utah’s top employers is looking for a Search Marketing Specialist to manage all PPC/SEM activities. Not only will this Specialist be managing the different PPC channels for DigiCert, but they’ll also be engaged in the exciting process of strategizing, building and optimizing all things online advertising. They will own the primary responsibility for driving new strategies and working through those strategies to improve reach and efficiency of online pay-per-click advertising.

Responsibilities:

Manage pay per click efforts on Google AdWords, Bing, remarketing platforms and additional networks as identified – including evaluating campaign data and developing actionable insight.

Plan, build and interpret results from A/B and multivariate testing of offers, creative and promotional copy.

Strategize and carry through plans for optimization of accounts based on keyword research, ad copy testing, landing page performance and product positioning.

Use AdWords/Bing reports, Excel spreadsheets and Google Analytics to track and report on all paid advertising campaigns.

Take responsibility for expanding display network advertising campaigns, for the purpose of improving sales, generating new leads and strengthening lead nurturing efforts.

Manage relationships and stay up-to-date on upcoming features from Google, Microsoft and other PPC partners.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience in AdWords, Bing and Google Analytics.

Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or other technical degrees.

Retargeting experience with AdWords and other networks.

Conversion and landing page optimization.

You are a self-starter with the ability to multi-task several projects in a fast-paced environment.

You are a perfectionist, driven to deliver your best while meeting strict deadlines.

Outstanding written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Google AdWords Certification.

Experience with bid management tools (Marin, Kenshoo, etc) a plus.

HTML knowledge a plus.
