Citrix Federated Authentication Service (FAS) is a Citrix component that integrates with Active Directory certificate authorities to issue smart-card-equivalent certificates for secure user logons across managed endpoints in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments. With DigiCert Trust Lifecycle Manager integrated, IT and endpoint management teams can automate certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation through unified endpoint management (UEM) workflows—enabling passwordless authentication, reducing manual PKI tasks, and strengthening device and user identity assurance across the enterprise.
