What it is

DigiCert Trust Lifecycle Manager uses an agent running on the IIS server to provide zero-touch certificate lifecycle automation for SSL certificates. It can initially scan networks to find IIS certificate stores and build a centralized “book of record”
within DigiCert ONE.

Why it matters

Certificates managed in Trust Lifecycle Manager are managed automatically, with many benefits:

• They are automatically renewed when appropriate and deployed 

• New certificates are automatically discovered and added to inventory

• Policies can be applied to all or particular certificates
