A few weeks ago, I blogged about the Little Things – and realized I told you about the Whats but not the Whys.
Why the little things?
Little things like changing the True Credentials enrollment page’s text color to something more readable. Like disabling a watchdog in an internal system that caused memory issues. And so forth – all which we did in this past week’s release, by the way.
The How actually answers the Why.
We’re doing the little things because that’s half of how we do things at DigiCert: I mean, of course you expect us to release big things (like all those upcoming CertCentral-based partner features, and like the recent DigiCert Secure Site product release) – and while that was the focus of our releases (and marketing, and sales) under our previous owners, it’s now only the first half of how we do things.
The second half is literally all about the little things.
At DigiCert, we strive to constantly evolve and tune our product – so that it becomes more efficient, more effective, and more valuable to you over time.
It’s what the Japanese call kaizen (カイゼン) – working proactively to achieve consistent, incremental improvements. (And frankly, I hope to honor its birthplace as I head off to Japan next week for our APAC Partner Roundtable).
Whether via the big releases or the little things, our platforms, our products, and our offerings become more valuable to you over time – making your offerings more valuable to your customers and your stakeholders over time – and that’s what partnership’s all about, right?
So while we steadily advance towards our major milestones – the CertCentral partner experience and expanding our flagship products – we’ll keep the thunder (and the little releases) rolling, providing you with a much more profitable combination than ever before.
