Aaron Olsen is General Counsel at DigiCert, leading the company’s global legal organization and advising the executive team on legal, regulatory, and strategic matters as DigiCert continues to scale as the platform for Intelligent Trust. He oversees corporate governance, commercial transactions, product and licensing matters, intellectual property strategy, compliance, and risk management, partnering across the business to support growth, innovation, and operational resilience.
Olsen brings a blend of private practice and in-house experience across technology, regulatory, and commercial legal issues. At DigiCert, he helps guide the company through a rapidly evolving trust landscape shaped by AI, cybersecurity regulation, and global market expansion.
Before joining DigiCert, Olsen practiced at Ray Quinney & Nebeker, where he advised clients on regulatory compliance, advertising, labor and employment, and commercial matters. Earlier in his career, he held roles in regulatory analysis and global marketing operations, building experience in international markets and cross-functional leadership.
Olsen holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and both an M.A. in Comparative Literature and Classics (where he was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship) and a B.A. in Classical Studies from Brigham Young University.
