TRUSTED CERTIFICATES FOR PATENT ACTIONS

The Unified Patent Court (UPC) is an intergovernmental organization that decides cases on infringement and validity Unitary Patents and classic European Patents for most EU Member States. The UPC Case Management System (CMS) requires a Qualified authentication certificate to access the Case Management System (CMS) and documents uploaded to the CMS must be signed with Qualified Electronic Signature (QES).

Authentication (3-year) €550 + VAT

Includes remote identity verification* and a Qualified authentication certificate on a physical USB token to access the UPC CMS.

Authentication + Signing (3-year) €830 + VAT

Includes remote identity verification*, a Qualified authentication certificate on a physical USB token to access the UPC CMS, and a Qualified signing certificate that can be used to apply an electronic signature (QCert for Esig).

*Requires an NFC-enabled identity document and access to a modern mobile phone. Alternative identity verification methods may also be available in your location for an additional cost.
