The Head of HR for EMEA and APJ is responsible for working closely with the Head of People and COEs to drive HR priorities, ensuring HR global solutions are developed, aligned and delivered to meet business requirements and strategy. The successful candidate will need to be a big nimble and adaptable in their approach, willing to challenge and be proficient at managing competing priorities while executing and producing results.
Responsible to partner with our EMEA/APJ Executives and leadership to align our HR programs and processes to meet their business needs, while partnering with DigiCert’s HR leadership team to implement organizational initiatives, facilitate organization and leadership development efforts, drive employee engagement, and work with employees and managers to resolve employee relations issues and address root causes
Part of the HR leadership senior team- unique opportunity to ensure the complete and effective implementation and administration of all people programs outside of the US- across comp/ben, business partnering, organizational development and talent acquisition
Responsible for being the frontline to our people- supporting managers and functional leaders in achieving their outcomes and being the front line of HR support for over 600 people outside of the US. Facilitate and provide guidance to management teams in HR matters, direct staff on HR functions, and develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures according to in region statutes and requirements
Responsible for developing and implementing a company’s human capital agenda outside of the US, establishing accountability, identifying solutions to resolve problems and fostering a diverse workplace that enables all to contribute to the organization at their full potential
Ability to drive consistency, sharing and influencing best practices, policies, and systems; including taking the lead on global projects
Excited about the opportunity to manage a complex international footprint, over six major locations outside of the US with over 600 employees in total. Requires willingness to travel and ability to be a strong advisor/contributor virtually
Manage a team dispersed ‘in region’ team members and effectively liaise with the HRLT located in the US. Must be able to be effective in a matrixed environment

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
8+ years experience in a multi-national or related human resources environment at a senior level, ideally in a fast-growing, global tech company; ideally in a fast-growing, global tech company (major plus if experience in EMEA and APJ)
5+ years of experience in a management role
Communication: ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language
Microsoft Office experience; able to prepare professional standard presentations on PowerPoint and perform data manipulation in Excel
Strong understanding of and ability to interpret local employment law across DigiCert’s six major locations outside of the US
Hands-on experience in the HR function with responsibilities in recruiting, employee relations, and performance management
Experience working in an HRIS system, preferably with ADP and/or other Global HR systems
Experience working in an applicant tracking system
Experience working in and/or knowledge in the web security and/or IT tech industry space is preferred
